Though it was widely thought that Dee Brown, formerly of the Boston Celtics, was gone from NBA basketball forever after his somewhat embarassing return for the Orlando Magic for a stint in 2002. However, it appears that his protege(or perhaps clone?), Dee Brown, has simply been waiting in the wings to take over for ODB(old-Dee Brown). New Dee Brown has a snappier haircut, upgraded 3P%, and I hear he's a darn nice guy, too.For a quick comparison, ODB's stats for his rookie year are looking strong compared to the clone, especially in the rebound department. However, Dee Brown Jr. is no slouch, so be on the lookout for him on fantasy draft night!
Strangely, Dee Brown is not listed as a similar player to Dee Brown by basketballreference.com despite the fact that they share the same name. That's enough in my book.
